Obituary of James Russell

James Edward Russell, of Waukesha, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2019 at the age of 76.  He was born on March 7, 1943 to Edward and Evelyn Russell.  He was a school teacher for Milwaukee Public Schools.

James will be deeply missed by his sons Paul (Joana) Russell, Scott (Linda) Russell and Damian Russell; step sons, Jason Unruh and Joel (Erin) Unruh; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and his Boston terriers Boss and Wilson.  He is preceded in death by his first wife, Sharon; second wife Judith; brother, John Russell; and sisters, Kathleen Clemens, Barbara Hurtado, Mary Russell and Patricia Kumferman.

Visitation for James will be held on Saturday June 1, 2019 from 9:30 until the time of the service at 11:00am at Evangelical & Reformed United Church of Christ, 413 Wisconsin Ave, Waukesha, WI 53186.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Humane Animal Welfare Society, 701 Northview Rd, Waukesha, WI 53188, and Threads of Compassion, 638 N 18th Street Milwaukee 53233.
