This was quite a shock for me. I am so sorry and wish I had made it a point to see my Aunt Mary and talk to her more often. She did have such a large smile and warm heart. The last time she was here for a visit she brought a "Seven Sisters", a family favorite, and a knife to cut it with. I still have that knife and every time I saw it over the past two years, I would think, "I should look for her phone number and give her a call to tell her I didn't "steal" her knife, never thinking there wouldn't be time for it.
This photo was taken around 1957, I think, when I was 7 or 8. Rest in peace Mary Lee. I will remember you fondly.

My sister had one of the most remarkable personalities I have ever encountered. She was quick to break into a smile and could easily coax a smile out of everyone she met. Words could never express how I will miss her and the times we had together.

I was sad to read about Mary's passing in The Racine Journal Times. Although I didn't know her personally she always welcomed my oldest son, Jay, into her home as her son, Ron, and mine were the best of friends during their high school years. Rest in peace Mary, you will be missed by your family and friends.

My heartfelt condolences to Mary’s family and friends. Mary was one of my very best friends growing up in Racine. We walked together every morning to St. Rose school. Together we learned how to bowl and how to dance. We enjoyed many Friday night fish fries together with our families. She will be deeply missed. With my sympathy and prayers, Shirley Kaminski Katz

Aunt Mary you were/are such a wonderful beautiful happy person. You are not just my Aunt, but my confidant, my friend and my favorite travel companion. I will forever miss you and all the joy you brought into my life. I will always treasure the times we spent together. I know how much you love spring and summer and now you will have an eternity of your favorite seasons. I love you and Rest In Peace until we are together again. I love you, Tracy.
