Obituary of Marion Beth Wrighton

Marion B. Wrighton (nee Raffel), of Waukesha, passed away at home with her caring granddaughter and her loving family by her side on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the age of 93. She was born on November 24th, 1924, the daughter of Frank and Jessie Raffel.

Marion will be deeply missed by her children, David Wrighton and Debra (Herbert) Eales, both of Waukesha; grandchildren, Herbert Eales of Wauwatosa, Jessica (Jeffrey) Schilz of Waukesha, Samantha Eales of Viroqua, Michael Eales of WI, and Roy Burnam of OK; great-grandchildren, Kenzie Rodas-Eales, Jaxon Schilz, Bode Schilz, and Emerick Eales; and her long time cat Precious aka “Kitty-Cat”.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Wrighton.

A devoted wife, a loving mother, and exceptional grandmother too,

This is the legacy we will always have about you.

A more admirable person would be hard to find,

And in your generous heart, you were always kind.

You truly taught us unique love and how to fight,

You gave us the greatest memories, you gave us might.

You genuinely fought for us all in one way or another,

Not just as a wife, not just as a mother but also as a grandmother.

For all of us who had the pleasure to know you, you gave your best,

Now the time has come for you to peacefully rest.

You are now in the hands of God in the heavens above,

In our hearts, we’ll eternally cherish your love.

The visitation for Marion will be held on Tuesday, August 7th, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. noon until the time of the 1:00 p.m. funeral service at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188.  The Rev. Dan Schwerin will be officiating.  Burial will immediately follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.  The family asks that if you would like to send flowers, please send perennials so they can be planted to be admired each year.
