Obituary of James E. Hoover

James E. Hoover, of Waukesha, passed away with his wife by his side at AngelsGrace Hospice on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at the age of 88. He was born on April 18, 1930, the son of Bert and Viola (nee Schultz) Hoover. James had a passion for old cars and frequented many car shows. He was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed walking and bowling. James had a deep love for dogs and passed away with the animal he so cherished in his arms.

James will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Marge; son, Scott (Tracy) Hoover; grandchildren, Brett, Darren, and Jordyn Hoover; brothers, Frank and Richard Hoover; and sister, Nancy Smith. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, John, Gerald, and Bert C. Jr.

The visitation for James will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. Noon memorial service at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1052 Whiterock Ave. Waukesha, WI 53186. The Rev. Scott Oelhafen will be officiating. Inurnment will take place privately at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
