Obituary of John Wayne Stefanski

John Stefanski passed away peacefully at the age of 61 surrounded by his family on Saturday, April 21, 2018. John was born on August 27, 1956 in Elkhorn, WI to Paul and Luana Stefanski (nee Benedict). John enjoyed restoring his 1972 GMC Sierra pickup truck with his son Ryan and attending car shows. John loved being outdoors and spending time with his family. He was one of those people you could call and he would drop everything.

He is survived by his wife Michelle Stefanski (nee Weidner) and his three children; Camille (Jason) Weber, Ryan (Nicole) Stefanski and Danielle Weidner. He had eight grandchildren that brought great joy to his life; Devin, Logan, Lilly, Daniel, Natalie, Luis, Lorena and Jasmine. He is also survived by his brothers; Paul (Dottie) Stefanski Jr and Lt., Col., USAF, Retired Richard (Juanita) Stefanski, sister; Carol (the lateTom) Taylor, Dee (Wally) Plochocki, Jane (Colin) Kelley, nieces, nephews and the rest of his loving family and friends, including his dog Luna. John is preceded in death by his parents; Paul Stefanski Sr. and Luana Stefanski.

The visitation for John will be held Friday, April 27, 2018 from 4:00PM until the start of the Funeral Service at 7:00PM at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. Burial will take place Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Oak Ridge Cemetery at 10AM.
