Obituary of Sheryl L. Dunlavy

Sheryl "Sherry" L. Dunlavy Of Waukesha, went into God's tender hands on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at the age of 52 years. Sherry was born on August 4, 1958, the daughter of Anthony Gayton and Jeanette (Newhausen) Stockfisch in Rockford, IL. She married the love of her life Bryon C. Dunlavy on July 30, 1986. She was a member of the Apostolic Life Church where she loved attending. Sherry was a big Chicago Bears and Cubs Fan. She enjoyed being outdoors in the sun and listening to Garth Brooks music. Sherry was the type of person to make you laugh especially when she shared stories with family, about family. Sherry will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Bryon; her children, James (Lisa) Gayton, Sarah (Jesse) Niman, Zachery (Amanda) Dunlavy, Casey (Josh Rios) Dunlavy, Anthony Joseph Dunlavy and Kirk Dunlavy; grandchildren, Austin, Dayne and Jayden; mother Jeanette (Michael) Stockfisch; father, Anthony Gayton; brothers Kevin Gayton, David Gayton, Ken (Carmen) Lovaas and Robby Gayton; sisters, Kari (Tony) Nichols and Deanna Gayton; step-father, Ronald (Denita) Lovaas; in-laws, Kristy Klus, Debra Beard, Steve Dunlavy and Todd Dunlavy. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The funeral service for Sherry will be held Friday, April 8, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. at the Apostolic Life Church, W271 S2929 Merrill Hills Rd., Waukesha, WI 53188. The Rev. Michael Hook will officiate. The visitation for Sherry will be on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until the 5:00 p.m. service at the church. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the church (see address above) to help the family.
