John L. Spantikow
Of Waukesha, went to join his son, Paul, after a long courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease
on Monday, March 7, 2011 at Waukesha Springs at the age of 75 years. John was born on
September 23, 1935, a son of Paul and Barbara (Lilla) Spantikow in Milwaukee, WI. John was an
avid hunter and fisherman but more than anything loved spending time with his family -
especially his grandchildren.
John will be sadly missed by his wife, Darlene; his children, Julie (Jeffrey) Kreuziger of Genesee
and Jeffrey (Diane) of Milwaukee; his grandchildren, Shaun, Shannon, Brandon, Lori, Amy and
Sydney; great grandchildren, Taylor and Adriana; sisters, Shirley Kane of Milwaukee, Jeannette
Bailen of Milwaukee and Mary Jane Larson of Shawano, other relatives and many friends. He is
preceded in death by his parents, son, Paul, and five brothers.
The funeral service for John will be held on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. at the Cesarz,
Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. in Waukesha. The Rev. William Key
will officiate. The visitation will be held on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the 12:30
p.m. service at the funeral home.
Burial will immediately follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.
