Obituary of Gertrude F. Williams

Gertrude "Gert" F. Williams Lifelong resident of Waukesha, died on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Linden Grove, Mukwonago at the age of 79 years. Gert was born on October 16, 1931 a daughter of Herman and Martha Wolfe. She married the love of her life, Warren "Speedy" Williams on May 26, 1951. Gert was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church of Genesee. She loved cooking, baking, playing bingo and was a member of the Saylesville card club. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Gert will be dearly missed by her son, Bob (Glenda) Williams of Waukesha; grandchildren, Jen (Mike) Bachmann of New Berlin and B.J. (Angela) Williams of East Troy; sisters, Dorothy Graham of Waukesha and Betty (Furrell) Grauer of Waukesha. Gert is preceded in death by her husband, Warren "Speedy"; parents; brother, Harold and sisters, Bernice and Louise. The visitation for Gert will be held from 5p.m. until the time of the 7p.m. Memorial Service on Thursday, May 19, at the First Congregational Church of Genesee, W306 S5075 Church St., Genesee, WI 53149. The Reverend Joe Medina is officiating. Inurnment will be at Genesee Cemetery, Genesee. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the First Congregational Church of Genesee are appreciated (see address above).
