Obituary of John B. Cage
John B. Cage
Of Waukesha, passed away peacefully at his home on October 21, 2011, surrounded by his
family at the age of 90. John was born on March 16, 1921, in Superior, Wisconsin to Albert G.
and Marguerite D. (nee Randolph) Cage. He was a World War II United States Army veteran in the

32 Division serving in Australia and New Guinea. After the war, John finished college at Superior
State College. Later, while teaching in Montana, he obtained his Master's Degree from Montana
State University. John married Marjorie (nee McKeague) on June 6, 1950. He worked in the data
processing department at Allis Chalmers for 12 years. John then returned to teaching at WCTC
where he taught data processing until he retired in 1985. He was a member of St. Matthias
Episcopal Church in Waukesha for over 50 years.
John will be dearly missed by his wife of 61 years, Marjorie; his five children, Maggi Cage of
Wauwatosa, Patricia Frank of Mukwonago, William (Denise) Cage of Waukesha, Jane Cage of
Waukesha and Mark (Carol) Cage of Waukesha; nine grandchildren, Shawnna, Heather, Krista
(Eric), Steven, Erin, Amanda, John, Teresa, and Mark; five great-grandchildren, Lilly, Tiernan,
Audrey, Eleanor and Everett; many other family and friends.
Private family services were previously held. Memorials are appreciated by the family to St.
Matthias Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 824, Waukesha, WI 53187.
