Deanna Thruman

Obituary of Deanna L. Thruman

Deanna (Dee) L. Thruman passed away peacefully in her home on November 11, 2021, at the age of 78 with her lifelong partner of 33 years by her side. The visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at Cesarz Charapata & Zinnecker funeral home located at 237 N. Moreland Blvd in Waukesha from 2 pm up until the service starting at 4 pm.

Loving and devoted partner to Judith (Judy) Tardif who will miss her dearly and be lost without her. A true friend who will live on in her heart forever and ever until they meet again. Proud stepmom to Jennifer Finn and Tracy (Ryan) Gardner. Grandee to (3) very special grandkids Cody (Sara) Gardner, Jackson Finn, and Kayla Gardner. Loving Godmother to AJ Hansen. Proud mom to her (2) kitty's Boo Boo and Zoey, whom she also referred to as "the kids". Very special family friend Jason Finn who has been a big part of Dee's life for 20+ years. Proceeded in death with her parents Maurice and Eldna Thruman, her sister Judy Kay and her grandparents. Survived by many other relatives and friends.

Dee was blessed with a talent to fix, she loved working with her hands and could literally fix anything she put her mind to; from a vacuum cleaner to a washer and dryer to plumbing and electrical issues. She never gave up until it was fixed. She loved fixing anything, anytime and anywhere. Dee took great pride in all of her jobs. Even up until the last few weeks of her life when she could communicate verbally, she was still concerned about going to work. She worked at Kohl's Grocery Store with Herb Kohl as a head cashier. Dee and Judy were partners in their own cleaning business (Juddees Cleaning) when they met their next business opportunity with Ellsworth Adhesives, where Dee worked for 30 years. She became like family to the owners in which she continued to assist them at their home after retirement.

In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to St.Croix Hospice at 7755 3rd Street N Suite 200, Oakdale, MN 55128, or Alzheimer's Association at 620 South 76th Street, Milwaukee, WI  53214.

Dee is loved, remembered, and deeply missed; she will never be forgotten and will live on forever within our hearts.
