Deb. Was my first female partner at the Sheriffs dept. I was told to teach her traffic on I94 in Waukesha County. We made a lot of of traffic stops and took in a lot of Drunk Drivers. It always cracked me up that Deb had to sit on a boat cushion to see over the steering wheel of the squad. When Deb. And I would respond to bar fights or arrest Bikers, she never backed down. Deb. Was always Loyal to the department and did a great job as a Detective. Thank you for being a friend and partner. May you Rest In Peace. Capt. T. Martorano ( ret. )

Deb was a great cop and an even better Detective. With a big heart and an infectious smile, she was always so open to helping others. I got to work with her at the annual AFS orientation for new students. She brought so much joy and dedication to that event and the organization. Despite her job and all of her work with charities and organizations, her first love were her daughters and grandkids. They were always in every conversation she had. Thanks for all your work Deb. Thanks for wearing the badge. Thanks for making the badge shine a little more.

I am so sorry to learn if Debby's passing. I live in Phoenix and met Debby and her mom at Peoria Pines golf course. We became friends and in the past year and a half we golfed together one to two times per week. Deb and I would share politics, family stories, and life's ups and downs. She always talked proudly of her daughters and grandkids. She was a wonderful friend and fun golf buddy. I will miss her dearly. I give my heart felt condolences to her family and will be praying for your strength during this most difficult time. May you rest in peace Debby. Love you always my friend! Nancy O'Keefe
