My wife Debbie and I read Phyllis' obituary in the Waukesha Freeman. We wish to express our condolences to family members and especially to Maureen Seibert, my former student, who we both remember with great fondness. Both Doug and Phyllis were wonderful supporters of the Waukesha North Band program of which Maureen was a member. We hope the wonderful memories of Phyllis will provide you comfort during this time of loss. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord. And let the perpetual light shine upon them. And may the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

My deepest sympathy to Steve, Stacy, Maureen and family on the loss of their mother. Aunt Phyllis always had a smile and contagious laugh whenever we got together! I remember our family coming down on Sundays to a delicious lunch she made, playing ping pong in the basement and ending the evening watching the Wonderful World of Disney together. She will be remembered and missed.

I remember family gatherings at the Seibert's home and Phyllis was a wonderful hostess and cook. She always had a smile on her face. She visited us during COVID-19 when her daughter Maureen took her for a ride. May God comfort her children: Maureen, Steve and Stacey and family and give them peace. Julie Baumler

We have had so many fun times with Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Doug. We always looked forward to going to their house because we knew that Phyllis was a superb cook and enjoyed seeing their pictures and souvenirs from their many travels. Whenever they would visit Waupaca, they would always stop in for a visit with us on their way home. We miss both of them. Mark, Deanna, and Jessica.

I'm one of Stacy's old friends, and what I will remember most about Phyllis is her ability to be delighted. That's a gift often lost as we get older. Phyllis is a good model for me to keep alive that delight and joy in daily life's simple things. My memory is especially captured in photos I saw of Phyillis with Stacy's dog Julep. Sending prayers of peace and comfort, Stacy. -- Susan+

I met phyllis only once, at her husband's funeral visitation. My impression was of a warm, friendly and gracious mother of my dear friend Stacy. Sincere condolences, Stacy, on the passing of your mother. I know you cared, and still care, deeply for her and will miss her. She will always be a part of who you are. I hope that many warm, beautiful memories live on in and through you. Love, Leigh

Although I hadn't seen my sister in nine years, I thought about her often, especially at Christmas time. Maybe I missed the cream of broccoli/shrimp soup she served on Christmas Eve; her friendly smile; or, her frankness. Judith and I always enjoyed Doug and Phyllis's visit at tax time when we lived on North Twin Lake in Conover. I will never forget Bear and Doug trying to play together. As Doug got rougher, so did Bear. Phyllis warned him and so did I but Doug persisted and ended up with a severe scratch on his arm. Funny the small things you remember about people. I have many good memories of someone who will be dearly missed.

Mom was an awesome cook and baker. Loved visiting her at Oak Hill Terrace. When Dad was there he kept score for ‘the ladies’ for dominos on card night. Our favorite thing to do for mom and I was to watch the Hallmark channel and I drove her around Waukesha to see the sights. Mom loved having Zena, my dog, around too. She will be missed.
