Obituary of Shawn M. Barker

Shawn M Barker, of Wales, passed away due to complications of a liver transplant on Saturday September 5, 2020 at the age of 45. Shawn was born in Waukesha on October 30, 1974, the son of Bill and Joan (Skoug) Barker. After graduating from Kettle Moraine High School, Shawn attended UW Madison. Shawn also was a utility worker for Cooper Power Systems and was a member of the Pewaukee, Fire Department. In 2012, he completed his studies at WCTC and became a surgical technician. He was a huge fan of the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers, enjoyed a good movie, he also loved to spend time with family and friends.

Shawn will be deeply missed by his son, Michael Barker; parents, Bill and Joan Barker; and brother Shane Barker. He is further survived by many relatives and friends. Shawn was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bill and Rose Barker, and his maternal grandparents Edwin and Adeline Skoug.

The visitation for Shawn will be held on Saturday September 19, 2020 from 12:00 until the time of the Memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd, Waukesha, WI 53188. The Rev. Jon Arndt will be officiating.
