Obituary of Angelita Escobedo

Born October 17, 1952 San Antonio, TX

On Monday, August 24 2020, Our Beloved Wife and Mother lifted her wings to be reunited with her daughter Veronica Marie Lopez in Heaven. Lovingly remember as the Wife of Santos Lopez Sr and Loving Mother to her precious sons; Santos ”Chacho” Lopez Jr, Adrian A. Lopez, Adam J. Lopez, and her daughter Rebecca J. Lopez.

Angie will be forever treasured in our hearts.  An Alumni of WTCT with her BS in Psychology she was a wonderful Wife, Friend, Mother, Madrina, Tia, Prima, and Grandmother to all who needed and knew her.  Her home was always open to anyone and she was always there to listen and offer advice to the many people who loved her as well as anyone who needed a helping hand.  Angie gave more of herself to others than one could think was possible. There was not a life she did not touch. She was sweet, sassy and never minced her words when anyone needed to hear it.

Many Tias, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and her ever-precious godchildren, survive Angelita across multiple countries and cities.

It is with Joy that we will have a Celebration of Her Life on what would be her 68^th Birthday, October 17 2020; we ask that you would join us at 4pm on this day to rejoice in the beautiful life Angie lived.

“Don’t come see me when I am dead, visit me in life”

May your eyes forever maintain their beautiful brown sparkle, your skin forever be warm and in the sun and the roses in your cheeks never fade. Forever we will hear you “Chachacha” the birthday song.  We love you mom. Rest in Heaven.  “Descansa en pas”
