Dear Gallagher’s, We loved Ray. He was the only one to visit Bill in hospice. We have so many great memories of times with Ray and Ann. So sorry for your loss and ours. I will miss him and his kindness and his jokes and his political bent!
Love,
Mary McElwee

Kathy, Mary Ann, Dennis, John:
My condolences to you.
We didn't get to see Uncle Raymond very often but I remember him as a vibrant, outgoing person who was fun to be around.
The world is a poorer place for his loss. We shall always treasure his memory.

Tim,
It took me a long time to look at this wall without crying Thank you so much for the kind words about my dad. He always bragged about you going to West Point! I often think of the Mahar's and I hope you are all well during this COVID. I hope your mother is doing well. You are dead right about him being fun to be around...I miss his corny jokes the most! Wouldn't it be great to have a Mahar reunion some day. I would really enjoy that. Thanks for thinking of us. Mary Ann Gallagher Whiting

On behalf of the Tario Family, I wish to extend our sympathy to Rays family.....we still see his brother Jack and Ella in church and though it has been many years since we have seen Ray, we remember him. The last time I remember seeing Ray was at Saratoga Lake. Many happy times were spent there. Sending our thoughts and prayers.

I was blessed to be part of the St. Williams Parish Sunday brunch group with Mr. Gallgher. My father is Angelo Curty. We are all very saddened to hear about his passing. He sat at the head of the table every Sunday, and when able to start brunch again, we will keep his spot there for his memory.
Most recently, my father and I had had a small (could have been big) falling out and it was Ray, at one of these Sunday brunches who really spoke up to my father and was able to give him perspective from his fatherly viewpoint and it completely saved my relationship with my father, who is 88 years young. I will forever be grateful for that gift Ray gave to us. You could feel his kindness before he ever even sat down. He will be missed.
Our deepest sympathies during your time of grieving.

Tania,
It took me a long time to read this wall without crying. Your words made me cry, because it was so him to solve people's problems. He was a good man and I know how much the Sunday brunch meant to him! I miss him all the time. I hope you are enjoying your father and spend as much time as you can with him! I miss my dad's jokes the most! Please take care of yourself during this pandemic and again thanks for the good memory of my father. Mary Ann Gallagher Whiting
