Obituary of Lucille A. Kutschenreuter

Lucille A. Kutschenreuter (Swift), of Waukesha, WI. Surrounded by her family was led by angels to Eternal Life on February 24th, at the age of 92, to be united with her beloved husband George and other members from her family who have gone before her. She was born October 15, 1927, in Monte Vista Colorado to the parents of the late Riley and Aurilla Swift.

Lucille was preceded in death by her brothers, Louis, Leonard, Willie, Jessie, Felix, Gilbert and George and her sisters, Grace and Pauline along with grandchild, Angela.

Lucille was a longtime member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Waukesha and was actively involved in the church Alter Guild. Her faith in God guided and strengthened her life. Her compassion, love and strong work ethic blended throughout her life. She enjoyed gardening, crochet, playing cards, Green Bay Packers, holidays, but most of all spending time with her family. She always showed grace and concern for others.

This vibrant lady will be deeply missed by her loving children, Frank Kutschenreuter, Bowling Green, Ky., Barbara Werra (Bernie), Oconomowoc and Nancy Kutschenreuter (Tom), Juneau. She cherished her six grandchildren, Lana Kutschenreuter, Kelly Kutschenreuter, Matthew Werra, Melissa Rockteacher, Nicholas Nehs and Jennifer Nehs and adored her 3 great grandchildren, Samantha, Alyson and Alex. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

This family would like to thank the loving caregivers at Crossroads Care Center for their dedication, compassion and care.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at St Mark’s Lutheran Church, 424 Hyde Park Ave. Waukesha. Marcia Marquardt will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until 11:30AM. Entombment will follow at Lac LaBelle Cemetery in Oconomowoc at 3:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Lucille’s name are appreciated for St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 424 Hyde Park Ave., Waukesha, WI 53188.
