Obituary of Donna Mae Emery

Donna M. Emery (nee Fuchs), lifelong resident of Waukesha, passed away with her family by her side on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at the age of 81. Donna was born on May 20, 1938 to Walter and Lilas Fuchs. Family was very important to Donna. She enjoyed the annual Hayward family trips, spending time outside in the sun, and devoting her time to her children and grandchildren. Donna was also an avid bowler for over 50 years.

Donna will be deeply missed by her children, Diana (Dennis) Mader of Waukesha, Roger (Cindy) Emery of Muskego, and Lisa Emery of New Berlin; grandchildren, Peter Mader, Ryan Mader, Andrea Mader, and Austin Emery; brother, Roland “Keith” Fuchs of Waukesha. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Virgil; son, Jeffery Emery; granddaughter, Melissa Mader; and brother, Robert Foxx.

The visitation for Donna will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the 6:00 p.m. funeral service at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. The Rev. Dr. Bob Gross will be officiating. Burial will take place privately at Prairie Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the JDRF Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter, 3333 North Mayfair Rd.
