Obituary of Myrna J. Farrand

Myrna Jean Farrand (nee Jordan), of Waukesha, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, July 19, 2019 at the age of 80. Myrna Farrand was born in Tomahawk, Wisconsin on August 08, 1938 to the late Earnest Jordan and Agnes Mitchell. She attended Fulsher School in Tomahawk. On November 29, 1958, Myrna married Allen Farrand at Frank Suffal residence in the township of Maine, Wisconsin. Myrna and Allen were happily married for 42 years.  Some of Myrna’s favorite memories were spending time at Mauthe Lake where the family enjoyed fishing and swimming together. Myrna had a strong faith in God and loved going to True Life Church with Sister Mary Engquist. She loved to read her Bible and spend time in prayer. Myrna lived a full life as a wonderful mother, homemaker and worked at Grebes Bakery, Wilson Sporting Goods, Peckham Shoe Company and Bonds Pickle Company.  In her spare time, Myrna loved to write poems, bake, do puzzles and take walks.  Myrna was highly skilled in crocheting doilies and enjoyed knitting. Myrna was a very proud Mother and Grandmother. She always referred to her granddaughters as “my beautiful girl” and her grandsons as “my handsome man”. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Much loved Mother of Barbara and the late Samuel Scott, Christina (Luis), Grace (Richard) Miller, Dale (Julie) Farrand and Becky Farrand. Grandmother of Amanda, Tiffany, Nichole (Phillip), Samuel (Cherie), Matthew (Holly), Mark (Betsy), Joshua (Tiffany), Jeremiah, Justin, Anthony, Neal, Aubrey (Anthony), Jordan, Cora (Jesse), Whitney, Kendra, Sondra, Angelica (Jholivan), Alex, Marcos, Alicia, Arica, Angel, Carlos, Charley, Geno and 31 great grandchildren. She was the dear sister of Marti Schaus, Patti Anderson, Linda and the late Clarence, Joanne and the late Myron (Mary) Jordan, Kenneth and Joyce. Myrna Farrand was the beloved wife of the late Allan W. Farrand. She was the loving Mother of the late Arthur W. Farrand.

Those whose lives were touched by Myrna are invited to True Life Church, 1615 Silvernail Rd., Pewaukee, WI 53072 for a visitation from 2-4 p.m. with the services starting at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday July 30, 2019 to reminisce, grieve and celebrate her life. For those closest to Myrna, her burial will take place Wednesday, July 31, at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial, 21731 Spring St., Union Grove WI, 53182 at 11:00 a.m.
