Obituary of Denise A. Taylor (Alexander Sekey)

Denise A. Taylor (Alexander – Sekey), of Waukesha, passed away peacefully, with family by her side, after a short battle with cancer on July 12, 2019, at the age 51.  She was born in Menomonee Falls, WI on November 11, 1967 the daughter of Dennis and Carol (nee Mader) Taylor.  Denise was a longtime correctional officer at the Waukesha County Jail.  On May 5, 2011, she married the love of her life Jeff Sekey. 

Denise enjoyed crafts and antiques.  She was known for her hearty laugh that could make anyone smile.  She also loved to sing and had an amazing singing voice.  

Denise will be deeply missed by her husband; Jeff, mother; Carol, children; Kevin Taylor, Austin Alexander, Kassandra Alexander, and Matthew Alexander, grandchild; Landon John, sister; Dawn Hessil (nee Taylor), brother in law Dennis Hessil, niece; Lindsey Lawrence and nephew; Brandon Hessil, as well as many extended family members and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis, and her brother Michael.

A visitation for Denise will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 12:00 NOON until the time of the memorial service at 2:00pm at Cesarz, Charapata, and Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be donated to AngelsGrace Hospice N74 W35908 Servants' Way Oconomowoc, WI 53066.
