Obituary of Bunny (Margaret) Chase

Bunny (Margaret) Chase, of Waukesha, passed away on June 23, 2019 at the age of 85.  She was born on March 29, 1934 the daughter of Frank P. and Louise (nee Kaiser) Rauwald.  She married her husband James M. Chase on June 16, 1956.

Bunny loved to play cards.  Her all-time favorite game was Hand and Foot.  She also enjoyed traveling to Mexico and reading books.  Bunny became a crafter to support her addiction to creating beautiful things.   Most of all, she treasured the moments spent with her family by her side.

Bunny  will be deeply missed by her children; Cindy (Rick) Thoenes, Cathy (Bill) Howland, Chris (Rick) Schwartz, Shelly Tallinger and Joan (Reid) Chase-Zibell, grandchildren; Katie Howland, Mike Howland, Jim (Kristina Wilton) Schwartz, Kelsie (Logan Thomas) Schwartz, Jessica (Kevin Kuss) Tallinger, Rob (Claire) Tallinger, Tim Tallinger, Tori Tallinger, and Amelia Chase- Zibell, great grandchildren; Landon Tallinger and Brody Tallinger, as well as many extended family members and friends.  She is preceded in death by her loving husband Jim, sister; Lois Vetter and brother; Gerald Rauwald.

Bunny’s family would like to thank the staff at AngelsGrace Hospice for their loving care.

Visitation for Bunny will be held on Monday July 1, 2019 from 9:00am until the start of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at St. Anthony on Lake, W280N2101 Prospect Ave, Pewaukee, WI 53072.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be donated to AngelsGrace Hospice, N74 W35908 Servants' Way Oconomowoc, WI 53066 or the Waukesha Food Pantry, 1301 Sentry Dr, Waukesha, WI 53186.
