Obituary of Betty J. McWilliams

Betty J. McWilliams (nee Megal), of Waukesha, passed away with her family by her side on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at the age of 87. She was born in Custer, WI on November 26, 1931 to Peter and Eleanor (nee Sankey) Megal. Betty married the love of her life, Duane on July 7, 1956, and, together, raised their five children. She was a charter member at St. William Catholic Church in Waukesha, a member of the Christian Women Society, and a talented cook. Betty had a kind soul, volunteering at Linden Grove and at her church.

Betty will be deeply missed by her husband of 62 years, Duane; children, Felicia (John) Froschmayer, Mark, Robert (Laura), Randall, Roxanne (Greg) Platz, and Regina Benedict-Valez; grandchildren, Duane (Melissa), Joshua (Taylor), Ryan, Alexander, Brittany (Mitchell), Benjamin, Jeremy, Katelyn, Eleanor and Grace; great-grandchildren, Isabella and Ryker; and sisters, Ramona Pehowski and Rose Ann (Anthony) Mrozinski. She is further survived by other family and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Jerome, Irene Werowinski, Raymond and Anslem.

The visitation for Betty will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. A second visitation will take place on Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 11:00 a.m. funeral mass at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. Entombment will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to HAWS (701 Northview Rd, Waukesha, WI 53188) or to the church (see address above).
