Obituary of Rosemarie Helen Hodge

Rosemarie Helen Hodge (nee Neverman) of Waukesha, WI was born into eternal life Wednesday, March 13th, 2019 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late John E. Hodge. Loving mother of Rick (Cheryl) Hodge of Lander, WY, Jon (Stacie) Hodge of Milwaukee, Nancy (Rene) Lopez of Waukesha and Toni (Jeff) Armstrong of Eagle. Adored grandmother of Rickie (Chris) George, Roberta (Joy) Hodge, Jon Hodge Jr., Pam (Mathew) Wagner, Tammie Hodge, Dan (Sonia) Hodge, Kenny Hodge, John Elmo Hodge, Amy Hodge, John Hodge, Crystal Garcia, Nicholas Armstrong and Joshua Armstrong. Caring great-grandmother of 37 and great-great grandmother of 11. Dearest sister of Sybil (Duane) Price and aunt of Scott Price, Steve Price and Mike Price. Rosemarie will be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.

Rosemarie was the daughter of Louis Neverman and Leah Neverman (nee Alden) in Waukesha, WI on June 3, 1930. She was raised in Waukesha and worked at Waukesha Memorial Hospital as an LP nurse after she graduated from High School. She then married John Elmo Hodge. Shortly after they moved out of Wisconsin but returned in 1971. She then went on to work at Westmoreland Manor Nursing Home where she enjoyed taking care of the elderly and taking groups of them on field trips to the Milwaukee County Zoo, Museums and most of all to Brewers games. She always enjoyed the excitement of them when they would enter into County Stadium. She also loved to knit, crochet, sew and bake. She was an avid fan of the Milwaukee Brewers and the Green Bay Packers. Both of which she loved to listen to on her radio. Especially when she could listen to Bob Uecker on the radio announcing the games. She enjoyed going to the game and tailgating with her family on her birthday.
