Obituary of Dorothy L. Ebert

Dorothy L. Ebert (nee Luthy) went home to the Lord on September 26, 2018. She was born on November 17, 1930 in Hartford Wisconsin to Fritz and Martha Luthy. Dorothy was a beloved aunt to Susan Birren, Terrie Havis, Kimberly Haas, Arnold (Aleta), Kenneth and Michael (Ann) Romanowicz, and Deborah Desjardin. She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Quaintance of Ohio, 18 addidtional nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Dorothy worked as a secretary for 20 years at Allis Chalmers where she met her husband, John. After their marriage, they moved to Waukesha where she volunteered for a variety of groups including the Elmbrook Hospital Food Pantry. She was an active member of Faith Baptist Church and the Golden Angels.

 Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, John; sisters, Anna and Rosemary; and brothers, Ernie and David. The family would like to thank Zilber Family Hospice for their care and compassion. They would also like to thank Janet Dovark and Judy Sheets for their special friendship with Dorothy.

The visitation for Dorothy will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 10:30AM until the time of the 11:30AM service at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Home Cemetery in Milwaukee. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN  38105-3678 or to Faith Baptist Church, 3250 Summit Ave. Waukesha, WI 53188.
