Obituary of Elaine M Sovey

Elaine Margaret Sovey (nee Wickert) of Waukesha, born October 4^th 1921, in Escanaba, Michigan, the daughter of Emil and Gladys Wickert, died Wednesday September 26, 2018 at Virginia Health and Rehab. She was 96.

She graduated from Escanaba High School in 1940, and then attended Secretarial School in Milwaukee until 1942. She served as Carl Taylor’s first secretary at Waukesha State Bank. Elaine  married William F. Sovey of Waukesha on October 30, 1945.

Elaine will be sadly missed by her sons Bill and Thomas (Jane) both of Waukesha; her grandson Kyle F. Sovey; and nephew-in-law James Tobias. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William, sister June Murphy, and niece Kathleen Tobias.
