Obituary of Shirley Druley
Shirley F. Druley, of Waukesha, passed away with her family by her side on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at the age of 88. Shirley was born on January 13, 1930, the daughter of Walter and Mildred (nee Kulhanek). She graduated from the Milwaukee State Teachers College where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. Shirley was a longtime member of St. William Catholic Church and had a kind soul, frequently volunteered her time at The Hope Center of Waukesha. Shirley was also a former member of the Milwaukee Catholic Symphony Orchestra, participated in her neighborhood bridge club, and enjoyed music, reading, bowling, knitting, puzzles, and the Packers. Most of all, Shirley loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Shirley will be deeply missed by her children, Diane (Dennis) Dietscher, Russell (Ila) Johnson, Bruce (Cheri) Johnson, Carole Johnson (Curt Wolff), Scott (Kathy) Druley, Candis (Brion) Henes, and Peter Druley; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Janet Bruss and Carol Kosakoski. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Russ Druley; son, David; sister, Janice; and brothers, Wallace and Richard.
The visitation for Shirley will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 9:30 AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
