Obituary of Elda V. Wilkinson

Elda V. Wilkinson (nee Buchholz), of Waukesha, passed away with her family by her side on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at the age of 89. She was born on December 12, 1928 in Westfield, WI, the daughter of Julius and Mary Buchholz. Elda received her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Wisconsin – Madison in home economics. She was a long-time member at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waukesha where she was an active member of the Ladies Aid. Elda loved to spend time with her family,was an avid golfer and enjoyed cooking and baking.

Elda will be deeply missed by her children, Sue (Gary) Kraft, Dan (Beth) Wilkinson, and Frank (Hilaree) Wilkinson; grandchildren, Jamie (Nick) Czaja, Brian and Sarah Wilkinson, Therese (Tyler) Steinhardt; and Danielle (Ben) Stellmacher; great-grandchildren, Brayden Stellmacher and Bentley Czaja; sisters, Hilda Ebert and Frieda Bohlman. She is further survived by numerous relatives and friends. Elda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ken; son, Roger; grandson, Timothy; and brothers, Harold, Arnold, and Don.

The visitation for Elda will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the 3:00 p.m. funeral service at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1052 Whiterock Ave. Waukesha, WI 53186. Burial will take place on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church (see address above) or to the American Heart Association, 1555 N River center Dr #211, Milwaukee, WI 53212.
